Hi All! My name is Curtis and I’ll be heading to Madagascar to ride around the northern part of the island. I’ll be there for nearly three months and working with Dr. Patricia Wright to collect data on lemur populations while en route. My plan is to head east from Antananarivo to the east coast. From there, I will ride up the coast to Maroentsatra, where the official road ends and I need to find some way across the peninsula to the northern coast. Once I am across the peninsula, I plan to follow the road north to Diego Suarez and then head back down along the west coast to Antananarivo. The route back to Antananarivo will depend on weather conditions as the road I want to take is said to be impassable in the wet season.
