To participate in Adventure Scientists programs, you must be at least 18 years old. Volunteers must complete required training programs and meet physical capability requirements for their chosen projects.

Users must create an account to participate in our programs. You agree to:

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Data Collection and Usage

By participating in our programs, you agree that:

• All scientific data collected will be made publicly available under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License
• Adventure Scientists may use, analyze, and share collected data with research partners
• You will follow our data collection protocols and quality control procedures
• You will use our provided tools and methods for data collection

5. Risk Acknowledgment and Liability

Participation in Adventure Scientists programs involves inherent risks. You agree to:

• Accept all risks associated with outdoor activities
• Maintain appropriate personal insurance coverage
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Release Adventure Scientists from liability for personal injury or loss

6. Intellectual Property

Adventure Scientists maintains rights to:

• All organizational trademarks and branding
• Training materials and protocols
• Website content and resources

Scientific data collected through our programs is publicly available under open-source licensing.

7. Code of Conduct

Participants must:

• Respect wildlife, environments, and communities
• Follow Leave No Trace principles
• Maintain professional conduct with partners and staff
• Report any incidents or concerns promptly

8. Termination

Adventure Scientists reserves the right to terminate participation for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Unsafe behavior or practices
• Misrepresentation of data
• Failure to follow protocols

9. Changes to Terms

Adventure Scientists may modify these Terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
