Participate in Whale Science on the Oregon Coast

Starting in October 2025, we’ll be collecting critical data along the Oregon coast to help researchers understand where these whales are located, where they travel, and how they behave. Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or just passionate about marine life, your observations could make a lasting impact.

Contribute to Killer Whale Research

This project is a collaboration with Oregon Shores, a nonprofit based in Oregon whose mission is to educate and empower people to protect our coastal ecosystems and communities, to collect data for NOAA’s Killer Whale Recovery Plan and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Endangered Species Management Plan.
