Whether you choose to work with our skilled volunteers or manage your own field data collection, we can take care of the logistics and training to ensure data is collected to your quality standards.
1. Project Design and Feasibility Research
Required: Prior to building the project, we complete project design work and resolve any feasibility questions.
We will build the project infrastructure necessary to collect your data, including:
Volunteer Training Course
Our custom online training courses use instructional design theory to educate volunteers about protocols and safety and test retention.
A QA/QC protocol for field collection, handling, and shipment in compliance with your data quality standards and methods, including developing a quality assurance project plan (QAPP).
Our staff conducts access, permitting, and permissions research necessary for the data collection effort.
Demo our volunteer training!
Check out a sample volunteer training from our Timber Tracking project to get a taste of how Campfire, our online LMS platform, provides comprehensive protocol training and retention testing in an engaging, collaborative environment.
Data Collection Management
If your project requires physical samples, we can source and manage sampling equipment. We also oversee shipping of the collected samples to your lab of choice.
If the work results in digital data, we will configure a mobile app to enable volunteers to upload their data in the field. Our apps also include an offline function for remote work and can integrate with databases your organization uses to store the data.
